Panch Pokhari Trek |

A fairly
easy, but quite high reaching trek to the sacred
lakes of Panch Pokhari. The route follows a
ridge trail most of the way, giving a fairly
steady rise in altitude over a relatively short
period. The ridge behind our highest campsite at
Panch Pokhari offers some remarkable view of
Dorje Lakpa (2320ft) which remains unconquered
until now and seen from this vantage point, it
is easy to understand why. We start with 4 hrs
scenic drive with magnificent views and we reach
Maidan (8000ft) with its waterfall. A steep
climb through rhododendron forest to Choche
(10,500 ft) is next with an acclimatization day.
We climb to Nosem Parti (12,000 ft) and then to
the lakes of Panch Pokhari (14,500 ft). After
climbing the ridge behind the lakes we can enjoy
some truly outstanding views. From the lakes we
descend to Nosem Parti and Forest Camp. |

Arrival in Kathmandu .
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Day 03: Drive Kathmandu - Chautara, and trek to
Syaule
Day 04: Syaule - Kamikharka Danda
Day 05: Kamikharka- Chyochyo Danda
Day 06: Chyochyo Danda- Hile Bhanjyang
Day 07: Hile Bhanjyang- Nasem Pati
Day 08: Nasem Pati- Panch Pokhari
Day 09: Panch Pokhari- Gai Kharka
Day 10: Gai Kharka- Yarsa
Day 11: Yarsa- Laghang Gompa
Day 12: Laghang Gompa- Tarke Gyang
Day 13: Tarke Gyang- Shermathang
Day 14: Shermathang - Melamchipul Bazaar, and
drive to Kathmandu
Day 15: In Kathmandu .
